What's it matter they don't listen to you?
They never did.

Maybe they're ashamed.

What's it matter they don't care about you?
They say they do.


I know the sun's going to start to shine.
I know tomorrow's going to be a better day.
I know I won't have to face it alone.
I know I won't have to face it alone again.


Did you ever feel..like you wanted to cry?
Did you ever ask yourself the reasons why?
Did you ever think..that nobody cared?
Did you ever wonder why they're always there?


This happens to the best of us.
And yes, that sounds kind of dumb.
But the things that sound the dumbest,
can be the things that mean the most.
